This cello was made in London circa 1830 and is based on the Amati-inspired model frequently used by Kennedy. It has a lustrous reddy-brown varnish over a golden ground. The upper registers are mellow and silky; the bass vibrant and rich. Certificate of authenticity by John Dilworth
