Born in 1800, Nicolas Maire was probably trained by Etienne Pajeot. He became his assistant in Mirecourt, later moving to Paris where he made bows for Gand, Vuillaume and Chanot. This fine and remarkably pure cello bow for sale has a certificate of authenticity by Jean-Francois Raffin. Please contact us for price and further information.
