We have organised the sale of numerous cellos of famous cellists, both living and historic, from Romberg to Wallfisch. On listening to Raphael playing this cello I am reminded of the inspiration that I drew as a student cellist on hearing numerous recordings of Jacqueline du Pre, and it is extraordinary to have one of the cellos on which she made such beautiful sounds in the cello shop.
