George Craske cello for sale. Famed as one of the most prolific violin (and cello) makers, this makes looking for a good Craske cello slightly easier to accomplish than some of his rarer counterparts. Tonally I often find them to be very convincing, especially within their price range, probably owing to the powerful, low-arched model that he used. This cello is no exception, being modelled after Guarneri, and has a beautiful 2-piece maple back and a rich red-brown varnish. The tone is rich, dark and soulful. Please contact us for more information if you are interested to buy a cello by Craske.
