hardie-hires-back

Hardie is well appreciated for his cellos, this example having been made in Edinburgh in around 1800. The varnish is a golden colour, now worn after much playing, although unusually this cello appears to have its original set of boxwood pegs. Certificate of authenticity by David Rattray, author of “Violin Making In Scotland 1750-1950”.
