This C A Gand cello for sale is similar in appearance to the 1849 ex-Paris Conservatoire Gand that we recently sold. Its powerful, muscular tone tone is well demonstrated by Raphael Wallfisch in this excerpt of the Lalo concerto. Both Charles Adolphe and his father, Charles Francois occasionally made the fronts of their cellos with three pieces of spruce instead of two; this cello being an example of this construction method. Please contact us for price and further information if you are interested to buy a Gand cello.
