Claude Augustin Miremont was brought to the attention of cellists by Pierre Fournier, who used a very fine sounding example during his career. This very well preserved cello dates from 1877, and has rich, concentrated & powerful tone well suited to solo repertoire. Offered for sale with the certificate of authenticity by Jean-Jacques Rampal, Paris.
