Violin Maker to the Duke of Edinburgh, Charles Boullangier was awarded diplomas at the London Exhibitions of 1862, 72, and 88. His formative years were spent working for Vuillaume and subsequently for Gand & Bernardel in Paris. This Guarneri-inspired cello for sale was made shortly after Boullangier arrived in London to work for Withers in 1849. Price on request.
