If one were to suggest that Georges Chanot’s making skill does not deserve to be overshadowed by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume, then surely this would be the instrument to support that view! Powerful, low Stradivari-inspired arching, elegant and refined corners and edgework, fabulous quality woods throughout, and all finished with an Italianate varnish.
