Lockey Hill

lockeyhill-2-hires-front

In 1795, around five years after this cello was made, Lockey was arrested and found guilty of horse stealing, sadly bringing his creative life to a premature end. Fortunately his cellistic legacy continued through his talented son Henry Lockey and the world-renowned firm of W.E. Hill & Sons. Certificate of authenticity by John Dilworth.
