This bow was made around 1820, using very attractive deep red-brown pernambuco wood. Formerly this bow was part of a fascinating collection of fine and rare French cello bows; more recently it has been owned by the eminent English cellist, Raphael Wallfisch. This bow is offered for sale with the certificate of authenticity by Jean-Francois Raffin.
